Dr. Melissa Borrero, MD is honored and excited to be joining BCIM and being with like-minded colleagues bringing her training and skillsets to full value.

Dr. Borrero is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine. She also has a strong interest in Functional Medicine. She worked as a geriatric House Call physician for 5 years in NYC. Since residing in Philadelphia PA, she has worked in various urgent cares in the area waiting for the right time to restart her primary care practice.

She has a passion for nutrition and teaching forward how to make more conscious choices with what we put into our bodies. She strives to empower her patients with the knowledge to start implementing small changes that can cause big results. As a primary care physician, Dr. Borrero will meet you where you are on your journey to remain above the wellness line.

She lives in Philadelphia with her life partner and golden doodle where they enjoy hikes in the Wissahickon.
